What we do with your information.

Casa Rosa Blanca is a privately owned holiday home in Ojochal, Osa, Puntarenas, Costa Rica, owned and operated by Alan and Viveka Martin. We answer our own email. There is no marketing department.

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, the dates and party size you tell us about, and whatever you write in the message. When you ask for the Ojochal Insider Guide or the Sunset Report, we collect your name and email address.

That is all. We do not ask for a date of birth, a postal address, or payment details through this website.

Enquiries are stored in Nimble, our contact system, tagged so we can find your conversation later. Emails we send you — replies, arrival details, the newsletter — go out through Resend. Both are third-party services based in the United States, and both hold your data under their own terms.

The site itself is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses, as every web host does.

We use it to reply to you, to arrange your stay, and — only if you asked for it — to send you the Sunset Report about once a month. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

We do not sell your information, rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers. If you book with us, we share only what a supplier needs in order to do their job — your arrival time with the driver, your name with our concierges.

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party tracking pixels. If that changes — if we add analytics, for instance — this page will say so before it happens.

Enquiries stay in Nimble so that if you write again in two years we know who you are. Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe. Ask us to delete your record and we will, apart from anything we are required to retain for Costa Rican tax purposes on a completed booking.

Write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. No form, no process — just an email. We will come back to you within a few days.

This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
